Job summary

JFL Consulting, LLC in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to maintain Aruba and Cisco networks. The role includes documenting networks, coordinating with customers and vendors, and supporting upgrades. Occasional off-hours work may be required.

The position requires 3+ years of wireless networking experience, MRPT eligibility, and DoD/IC-related certifications. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wireless network infrastructure experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• DOD 8140 compliance certifications: Security+, GSEC, or CCNA-Security
• CCNA or HPE Aruba ACA-S certification
• Aruba ACP-CA and ACP-NS certifications
• Strong RF knowledge with Aruba Wireless and ClearPass
• Modeling and plotting Wi‑Fi heatmaps for coverage
• Experience with NAC for wired and wireless networks
• Willing to be available for off-hours maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain Aruba and Cisco wireless networking infrastructure
• Update and maintain network documentation
• Serve as a technical advisor for wireless infrastructure
• Provide technical and engineering support to customers
• Follow and improve standard operating procedures
• Manage infrastructure upgrades and projects
• Be the point of contact for Tier 2/3 escalation tickets
• Create implementation plans with milestones and timelines
• Build and maintain NAC solutions for wired and wireless networks
