Mobile Generation LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Wireless Assistant Store Manager to lead a sales team in a high-energy Verizon Wireless store. You will work with the Store Manager to ensure the team follows our selling process and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

You should have 1+ years in retail, preferably wireless, with strong communication, leadership, and a willingness to travel to Midwest locations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in wireless.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer experience and sales results.
• Willingness to travel to Midwest locations and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor sales associates alongside Store Manager.
• Hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed personal and team KPIs each month.
• Ensure location adheres to Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation guidelines.
• Support promotional activities and inventory procedures as needed.

The Mobile Generation Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for:

• Working side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
• Assist Store Manager as directed to hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
• Meet or exceed both your personal and team key performance indicators each month
• Coach/mentor your team every day so they can provide an exceptional customer experience each time.
• Ensure your assigned location is operating under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
• Assist the Store Manager in any promotional role, inventory procedure, or other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business.
• Proof of achievement in prior sales roles is required
• Ability to lead, coach, and inspire your team members.
• Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
• Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest and business needs dictate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
