Qualifications

• Ability to operate various types of wire and material handling equipment including wire cutters, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed (physical dexterity and safety concern).
• Strong reading and communication skills to verify orders and update records.
• Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred, familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.

• Receive, verify, and stock various wires utilized in the electrical industry.
• Review orders, pull requested wire from spools, examine for accuracy, and wrap for transport.
• Provide loading and unloading support as needed.
• Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts as requested.
• Follow processes and procedures as instructed by your Lead or Wire Room Supervisor.
• Help maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors and employees.
• Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• May be required to move up to 40 lbs.
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
• Noise level may be loud at times.
• Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
