Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a detail-oriented Wire Harness Designer to support the development and maintenance of standard electrical components and wire harness libraries within the 3DEXPERIENCE environment.

You will define and add components to the standard library, research parts, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure models meet design requirements while collaborating with engineering teams on CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and add electrical components to the standard component library in 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
• Research electrical and wire harness components and communicate with suppliers to obtain technical information.
• Assist with completion of clip and connector rear views within the Capital Library.
• Support the development and maintenance of 3DX modeling standards, particularly interfaces with component libraries.
• Manage new component requests received through JIRA.
• Maintain accurate status and tracking of component and symbol development activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure component models and symbols meet design requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and standardization of harness component libraries.
