Job summary

Anderson Industrial Engines Co., Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to support our production of rugged wire harnesses for industrial equipment.

You will read wiring diagrams, follow detailed drawings, and perform orderly, quality-driven assembly. This full-time role offers a stable daytime schedule on a climate-controlled shop floor, paid time off, and benefits including 401(k) match and health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in wire harness assembly or electrical assembly.
• Skilled in using hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Measure, cut, strip, splice, and crimp wires using manual and automated tools to industry standards.
• Install terminals, connectors, seals, and heat shrink tubing per specification.
• Bundle and secure wire harnesses using cable ties, tape, and clamps to meet rugged vibration, heat, and chemical exposure requirements.
• Perform quality tests to verify quality and functionality.
• Identify and resolve assembly issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors or engineering as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Document work completed and ensure traceability through quality documentation and labeling.
