Job description

Position: Wire Draw Machine Operator

Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour

Location: Akron

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate wire drawing machine to shape or emboss wire.
2. Review work orders and select appropriate shaping, reducing, or embossing roller dies according to specifications.
3. Position roller die in the machine to shape, reduce, or emboss wire.
4. Secure roller die in place by turning setscrews.
5. Insert wire into the machine feed mechanism, start the machine, and monitor its operation.
6. Measure wire thickness using a micrometer to ensure it meets specifications.
