Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring in Cranbury, NJ. This full‑time warehouse role involves reviewing tickets, cutting and labeling wire, unloading reels, restocking, and maintaining a safe, organized wire room.

You will work Monday–Friday starting at 2pm, with benefits including healthcare, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and growth opportunities within the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review customer ticket and accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order.
• Correctly measure and cut wire to customer specifications.
• Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
• Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine.
• Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire room area.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
