Job summary

World Electric in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Wire Cutter to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on receiving, storing, cutting, paralleling, and installing heads per customer orders, with responsibility for accurate lengths and log entries.

You’ll operate PIT equipment and use the wire management system daily. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks).
• Strong basic math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Selects, pulls and cuts wire to appropriate lengths based on customer orders.
• Verifies the accuracy of wire cuts and logs them.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places them on pallets or shelves.
• Marks materials with identifying information and weighs or counts items for distribution.
• Uses wire management system to enter records and update statuses.
