Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Wire Cutter to coil, spool, cut and label wire to customer orders in a Maryland facility. The role requires accuracy, good math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Good and dependable mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Cut wire to the length specified on ticket order.
• Label and deliver wire to correct routing staging area.
• Maintain organization and neatness in wire room.
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers.
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

AWire Cutterfor Capital Electric is responsible for coiling, spooling, cutting and labeling wire to specified customer orders. Attention to details and accuracy is required.

Responsibilities:

• Cut wire to the length specified on ticket order
• Label and deliver wire to correct routing staging area
• Maintain organization and neatness in wire room
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience - electrical distribution industry preferred
• Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
