Job summary

OneSource Distributors in Kapolei, HI, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will read orders, cut and spool wire, track stock, and move materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements include up to 50 lb lifts, forklift certification, and the ability to work a typical 8:00am–5:00pm schedule. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 6 months of related experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read orders to determine products to move, gather, or distribute.
• Cut and spool wire sizes using wire cutting machinery.
• Track footages of wire on stock reels and update wire tags.
• Communicate when wire inventory is low.
• Convey material from receiving to storage or designated areas.
• Scan, sort and place material on racks or bins by location.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare for packing or shipping.
• Prepare parcels for mailing and complete cycle counts.

What you will do:

• Read orders such as customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed.


• Cutting and spooling all different wire sizes using wire cutting machinery.


• Track footages of wire on stock wire reels and updating wire tag marker.


• Communicate when wire inventory levels are low.


• Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas.


• Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined distribution center location.


• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.


• Prepare parcels for mailing.


• Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock on request.

What you will bring:

• Utility, Electrical and/or distribution experience preferred but not required


• High School diploma or G.E.D.; or


• 6 months of related experience and/or training; or


• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs


• Forklift certification


• Mix of warehouse and office work environments

Location: This role is based in Kapolei, HI

Work hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Salary Range:

• This is a non-exempt position and pays between $16.11- $21.49per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
