The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of warehouse or material-handling experience, preferably with wire or electrical products, and shows reliability, attention to detail and a solid work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3+ years of relevant warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or material-handling experience.
• Previous experience working with wire, cable or electrical products strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely operate wire-cutting machinery and related warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read orders, specifications and measurements.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality with a consistent work history.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical and team-oriented warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire and cable from warehouse inventory according to customer orders and product specifications.
• Measure and cut wire to precise lengths using wire-cutting machinery and equipment.
• Verify wire type, size, quantity, and measurements before completing each order.
• Coil, bundle, label, and package finished wire for customer pickup or delivery.
• Move, organize and maintain wire inventory while communicating any discrepancies.
• Inspect completed orders for accuracy and quality and assist with staging and loading as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment while following proper material-handling and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse associates, sales representatives, drivers and other team members to keep orders moving efficiently.
