Job summary

Holyoke Public Schools is seeking motivated student interns for the WIOA internship program. This internship offers a yearly stipend and hands-on experience aligned with your career interests, with 12 hours per week commitment.

Starting immediately, up to 20 positions are available. The program is funded through WIOA and supervised by the Advanced Learning Team with quarterly reviews and timesheet submissions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student in good academic standing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Time Tracking: Submit monthly timesheets to accurately track work hours.
• Participate in a quarterly review conducted by the Advanced Learning Team (ADL) to assess completed hours and stipend eligibility.
• Work Commitment: Commit to working 12 hours weekly.
• Hour Completion: Ensure you meet the required hours each week. If unable to complete the hours, you may need to increase your hours during the semester.

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated interns to participate in our internship program funded by the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, through Holyoke Public Schools. As a student intern, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience ideally aligned with your career of interest.This position offers a stipend of approximately $2500 for the year, contingent upon completing required hours.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Time Tracking
