Job summary

Together AI in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to design scalable systems, build features, and optimize performance across the stack. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions from initial scope to production.

Join one of our engineering squads—Platform, Infrastructure, SREs, or Inference—and contribute to real projects during a 12–14 week Winter internship. On-site at HQ, January to April, with housing stipends and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CS/SE degree, expected by Summer 2028.
• Strong Python/Go/TypeScript skills.
• Able to solve problems creatively and explain trade-offs.
• Previous internships or projects experience.
• OSS contributions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software across the stack.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to ship features.
• Write clean, well-documented code with maintainability in mind.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Contribute ideas to direction of products and infra.
