Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL class B with Passenger endorsement and air brake restriction removed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to safely operate city buses in all weather, traffic, and passenger loading conditions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Able to meet Federal Transit Administration drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate City buses safely and efficiently according to schedules.
• Maintain awareness of passengers, traffic, and weather conditions.
• Adhere to routes, timetables, and safety protocols.
• Assist with mobility devices and ADA-related tasks as required.
• Coordinate with dispatch and report incidents or issues.
