Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment for snow and ice removal safely and efficiently.
• Operate equipment used in construction, maintenance, and repair of county infrastructure.
• Perform highway maintenance tasks: gravel roads, mowing, ditch cleaning, patching surfaces, and culvert work.
• Assist with traffic control, signs, and barricades in work zones.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities; perform basic repairs.
• Complete reports and forms including inspections, safety, time cards, and inventories.
