Job summary

Aeromag is seeking a Seasonal De-Icing Technician to support aircraft safety during winter operations at Cleveland, OH. You will operate de-icing trucks, apply fluids, and coordinate with ground crews to ensure on-time departures.

This role offers flexible shifts based on weather, with paid training and certification provided. It is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone seeking seasonal work that makes a direct impact on air travel safety.

Qualifications

• Availability for night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Valid driver’s license required; airside license preferred or obtained upon hiring.
• Able to pass airport security clearance (RAIC, SIDA, or equivalent).
• Prior aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate de-icing trucks and equipment near aircraft in winter conditions.
• Apply aircraft anti-icing/de-icing fluids per procedures and safety protocols.
• Communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and dispatchers.
• Follow airport regulations, security procedures and safety guidelines.
• Complete required logs and reports after each operation.
