Job summary

Lakeland Regional High School, part of the Lakeland Regional School District, seeks a qualified Winter Guard Coach/Advisor to lead the program this season.

You will plan choreography, teach flag and performance techniques, organize rehearsals and competitions, promote teamwork and school spirit, and provide a positive, supportive environment for all participants.

Experience with rifles and sabers is a plus; NJ teaching credentials or substitute eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Experience instructing high school/color guard, winter guard, or marching band programs preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of choreography, movement, and color guard fundamentals.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must satisfy all New Jersey Department of Education employment requirements, including criminal history background clearance.

Position Summary

Lakeland Regional High School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Winter Guard Coach/Advisor to lead and instruct students in the Winter Guard program. Responsibilities include planning and teaching choreography, instructing students in the use of flags and other performance equipment, organizing rehearsals, preparing students for competitions, and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and school spirit. The coach/advisor will oversee the program throughout the season, including practices, performances, and competitions, while providing a positive and supportive environment for all participants.

Compensation

• $2,500 stipend in accordance with the Lakeland Education Association (LEA) Negotiated Agreement.
