Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds.
• Unlock doors and let students in residence halls after closing hours.
• Examine doors, windows and gates to determine they are secure.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and detain or expel suspicious persons.
• Observe for and report irregularities such as fire hazards and security issues.
• Call the fire department or police in emergencies and assist authorities as needed.
• Record data for supervisory staff and prepare reports.
• Provide security escort service as needed.
• Regulate campus traffic and patrol events.
