Job summary

Windham Mountain Club is seeking a Barback for the winter season. This in-person, part-time role supports bartenders, ensuring guest needs are met in a fast-paced restaurant environment at Windham, NY. Shifts are evenings on weekends and holidays, with a 13/hour pay and pooled tips.

Weather-dependent start dates typically in early December. Responsibilities include stocking supplies, assisting with setup/breakdown, cleaning work areas, and aiding with inventory while complying with NYS liquor

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TIPS certification required before starting employment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-energy environment.
• Comfortable handling cash, operating POS systems, and multitasking.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish liquor, beer, mixers, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies.
• Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and daily operations.
• Clean and maintain bar areas, equipment, workstations, and guest areas.
• Support food service, special events, promotions, and remote beverage stations.
• Change beverage canisters and assist with inventory management.
• Follow all NYS Liquor Authority regulations and company policies.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
