Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking Winter Athletic Coaches for the 2025-2026 school year at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy in Hartford, CT. Positions include multiple winter sports with supervision by the Principal and the Supervisor of Athletics.

Coaches will guide student-athletes through skill development, performance improvement, and sportsmanship within an urban school setting. Certification requirements and on-hire trainings apply as part of the HTA program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
• Coaching Permit issued by CT State Department of Education required.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Concussion Training or Refresher Course required.
• Mandated Reporter Training and district trainings upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve coaching programs through planning, evaluation and implementation.
• Help student-athletes achieve skill development, discipline and sportsmanship.
