Aspen Snowmass is seeking a friendly Bartender for the winter season to mix and serve beverages at multiple locations. You will provide 5-star guest service while upholding liquor-safety standards and cash handling procedures.

This full-time seasonal role reports to the Restaurant Manager and supports bar setup, maintenance, and closing duties. Requirements include a High School Diploma, being 18+, TIPS trained, and 6 months to 1 year of related experience.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient knowledge in all wines by the glass.
• Proficient knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktail creation methods.

Aufgaben

• Offer guests recommendations of drinks to complement certain food items.
• Know all menu item origins, preparations, and ingredients to make recommendations.
• Mix drinks and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Complete beverage and general supply requisitions.
• Ensure guests satisfaction and inform management of guest’s comments and complaints.
• Monitor guests who are over intoxicated and communicate sightings to management team for further evaluation.
• Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management and the established emergency plan.
• Reset area, clean all indoor and outdoor areas and perform side duties assigned by the Manager.
• Responsible for assisting all team members in organization of kitchen items, to include, dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies and proper rotation and organization of all F&B deliveries.
• Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.
• Enforce and comply with all policies and procedures for the Food and Beverage department.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

The Bartender mixes and serves beverages ina timelyand friendly manner. They also oversee the security of liquor, checks,and cash,as well asparticipatein the physical setup and breakdown ofthebar. The Bartender serves as the face ofthebusinesswith the ability toprovide5-star guest service. This person reports to the Restaurant Manager.

• Ability to wet up,maintain, and break down bar area
• Ability towork outdoors
• Ability tomaintaina positive, professional, team-player attitude
• Ability to work outdoors at high elevation for entire shift
• Ability tomaintainthe proper care and cleanliness of serving equipment and glassware
• Ability to serve guests ina timelyand friendly manner
• Familiar with fire and safety regulations and procedures
• Ability toassistin emergency and security procedures as directed by management and the established emergency plan

• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Regularly workin wet,hotand humid conditions for extended periods of time and may berequiredto walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
• Must be able to occasionally lift,pushor pull up to 50 lbs. individually or withassistance(weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
• Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level isrequiredfor employees of ski in/ski out restaurants in the winter
