Job summary

Armanino Advisory LLC invites rising accounting students to join our internship program in Irvine, CA, offering hands-on exposure to corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax work. You will contribute as part of a collaborative team while pursuing CPA licensure with company backing for prep materials and courses.

The role emphasizes ongoing learning through instructor-led courses, self-guided studies, and real client engagements across diverse industries, with a clear path toward CPA

Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
  • Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients.
  • Projects may include return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections.
  • Research and stay up to date with changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state level.
  • Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support varying client engagements across multiple industries.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a team of professionals on client projects via meetings, chat, and email.
  • Develop skills in accounting software through courses, self-guided learnings, workflow updates, and on-the-job training.
  • Support toward CPA certification with company-provided prep materials and classes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work toward the completion of CPA certification with the support of Armanino through prep materials and classes.

Compensation

The compensation for this position: $36.00/hour. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
