Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Software Engineer Co-ops for Winter 2027. This paid, in‑person co‑op offers hands-on projects across multiple teams, focusing on building and scaling software used by customers and stakeholders.

You will write code, analyze metrics for debugging, and collaborate to test complex functionality while learning from experienced engineers in a real defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export‑controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete an in‑person 16 to 24‑week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front‑end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as C++, Go, Rust, Java, and Python.
• A desire to work on software and applications that have real‑world impact.
• Have a bias for action. If you see a problem, you want to solve and fix it.
• Be naturally curious about the technologies and tools you use.
• Low‑ego, high ownership, and mission oriented.

US Hourly Range

$42 - $60 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
