Job summary

Armanino is hiring Audit Associates to join our Irvine-based team. You will participate in all phases of audits from planning to completion and interact with clients to resolve issues, under general supervision. Start date: January 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong CPA licensure eligibility or pursuing CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers
• Contribute to the completion of audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagement
• Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables
• Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
• Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships

This work will include tests or procedures performed under general supervision that allow the Firm to collect sufficient evidence to assess whether the clients’ financial statements are free of material misstatement. You will help to ensure the completion of our clients’ annual reports and interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between May 2026 – December 2026 strongly preferred
