Job summary

Eagle Distributing Inc in Fremont, NE is hiring pickers paid by pick rate with potential to earn up to $25.50 per hour. Training pickers start at $19.00 per hour. The role runs Monday–Friday starting at 7am in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities include assembling orders, moving and sorting products, operating shrink wrap and forklifts, labeling, stocking, and ensuring safety and organization in the warehouse. Night/weekend flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including some nights and weekend shifts.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assembling orders using picking technology.
• Move packaged product by hand from racks, shelves, bins, or floor onto pick pallet.
• Sort and place the packaged product on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.
• Operate shrink wrap machine to secure order and prevent it from falling in transit.
• Mark orders with identifying information using born on date identification tags.
• Rotate stock, consolidate pallets, and warehouse inventory.
• Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment including powered hand trucks and sit-down forklifts.
• Load and unload trailers with palletized freight using a sit-down fork truck.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment and follow safety policies.
• Receive inbound freight into inventory using scanner and software.
