Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation–Brown Jug stores in Anchorage, AK is seeking Store Sales Associates for the Brown Jug Tikahtnu location. You will handle customer transactions at the register, assist customers with purchases, and help stock and merchandize shelves while keeping the store clean and organized.

Flexibility to work varied retail hours, including evenings and weekends, is required. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential in this busy, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• Have or obtain an Alcohol Server Card (we’ll tell you how to get one, it’s easy!)
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
• First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset but not required
• Training or passion for wine/beer/spirits is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment
• Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate
• Stock shelves and cooler with product
• Help keep the store clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned
