Job summary

Sixty Vines in Reston, VA is hiring a Server to provide friendly, knowledgeable service of food and beverage, maintaining cleanliness and high standards while assisting guests with menu questions including liquor, beer, and wine.

You will arrive on time, ring orders accurately, stock stations, and work with management to create a welcoming dining experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering items.
• Obtain and update any required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, in proper uniform.
• Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders in the computer.
• Stock and replenish stations as needed, including polished silverware glassware.
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns about the menu, including liquor, beer, and wine.
• Handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at all tables.
• Pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant, not only in your own station.
• Communicate questions/issues to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and follow alcohol service regulations.
• Participate in continuing education courses available to you.
• Maintain knowledge of the food and bar menu and host procedures.
