Job summary

Formaggio Kitchen's South End location is seeking a motivated wine lover to assist with wine buying, in-store tastings, and cheese counter service. The role splits roughly 50/50 between wine and cheese operations, with training from the Senior Wine Buyer and opportunities to expand knowledge of natural wines.

Candidates should have at least two years of industry experience, an enthusiasm for learning about both wine and cheese, and the ability to move wine cases between floors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of wine/cheese industry experience.
• Knowledge of natural and biodynamic wines preferred.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends.
• Passion to learn about both cheese and wine.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wine buying and tastings.
• Provide retail and administrative support.
• Lead staff wine training and cheese counter service.
• Move cases of wine up and down stairs as needed.
