Job summary

Quadrant, Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator in Arlington, VA, to provide Tier 3 support and maintenance for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of relevant experience and must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.

You will be responsible for managing server operating systems, administering Active Directory, and supporting VMware environments. A strong background in PowerShell scripting and automation is essential.

Windows Systems Administrator

Arlington, VA
Pay From: $110,000.00 per year

Requirements

• Experienced Windows Systems Administrator (3+ years)
• Must have active TS/SCI clearance
• 10 years of relevant IT systems engineering or systems administration experience supporting enterprise Windows environments
• Experience supporting systems within classified DoD enterprise environments
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Sec+ certification required

Duties

• Provide Tier 3 support for in-house developed systems and site-unique enhancements
• Support maintenance of current and future versions of supported IT systems
• Maintain server operating systems at required versions
• Maintain COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source software at required versions
• Perform installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of supported systems
• Support incident, change, and configuration management processes in accordance with lifecycle support requirements
• Administer Active Directory user and group management functions
• Support VMware virtual machine administration and Virtual Desktop environments
• Provide support for DNS, DHCP, backup and restore operations, SAN storage fundamentals, and desktop imaging tools
• Assist with PowerShell scripting and automation efforts as needed
