Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Windows Power/Performance Developer to analyze and optimize software running on Windows on Snapdragon.

The role spans OS, kernel, compiler, drivers, and CPU architecture to deliver best-in-class performance for Windows on Snapdragon devices. You will own complex performance analyses, develop instrumentation, and work with architects and engineers across Qualcomm and partners to define optimization strategies while maintaining power efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
2+ years of software engineering experience with focus in Power/Performance.
Experience with Windows OS, C/C++, ARM assembly.

Responsibilities

In-depth analysis of key software benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
Implement software optimizations to meet performance criteria.
Develop and enhance analysis tools and instrumentation for performance gaps.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for analysis and optimizations.
Identify risks associated with designs and multi-team work efforts.
Solve complex technical problems affecting large areas of products.
