Job summary

Future Technologies Inc. is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to support DoD-related infrastructure in the United States. The role requires maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and RDP access, with emphasis on security configuration and vulnerability remediation.

You will also handle backups, disaster recovery, and documentation within a controlled IT environment. Must hold an IAT Level II certification (IA) and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Specialized experience includes administration of Microsoft Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, patch management, and system hardening; management of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Windows workstations, WSUS, and third-party patch management solutions; administration of DNS, DHCP, NTFS permissions, Remote Desktop Services (RDP), file and print services, and Thin Client hardware/software.

• Experience performing security configuration, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and server infrastructure.
• Manage the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements.
• General knowledge of enterprise frameworks, IT service management principles, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Per (DoD) Directive 8140.01, this position requires the (IAT) Level II certification, including both an Information Assurance (IA) certification and a Windows Operating System certification, as applicable.
• Active Secret security clearance.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
