Job summary

84 Lumber Company in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Window Service Technician to join our full-time hourly team. This role installs and maintains windows at construction sites, handling screen installation, balancing windows, and related tasks.

You will replace glass and sashes, clean windows after installation, and prepare routine reports for review. Warehouse duties include stocking inventory and loading/unloading semi-trailers; a valid driver's license is required along with the ability to lift up

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds periodically.
• Ability to handle problems with a few concrete variables and standardized situations.

• Screen installation.
• Balancing windows.
• Replacing glass and/or sashes.
• Cleaning windows at completion of install.
• Writing routine reports and correspondence to present to a small group.
• Warehouse duties include stocking inventory and loading/unloading semi-trailers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals), write short correspondence and memos, and effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Ability to periodically lifting up to 80 pounds
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
