Job summary

Wrightway Home Improvements in Wisconsin is hiring a Window and Door Installer to install windows and doors per manufacturer specs, complete trim work, load materials, and prep sites. On-site training will be provided to new hires.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid WI driver’s license, be comfortable on ladders up to two stories, lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors year-round, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean truck and job site.

Qualifications

• Experience with home improvement installation or remodeling preferred.
• Ability to read and record materials on work orders.
• Background check may be required; WI driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Install windows and doors per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete interior and exterior trim work.
• Load materials and prepare job site.
• Break down and clean work areas.
• Develop good customer relations and high level of service.
• Perform installation and follow lead installer instructions.
• Keep trucks clean and organized.
• Meet the required work pace within the allotted time.
• Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and customers).
• Communicate effectively throughout the organization.

The Opportunity:

We are currently hiring a Window and Door Installer. Preferred candidates should have proven successful experience with home improvement installation. We will do on-site job training.

Candidate must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a full-size truck or cargo van. Our ideal candidate must be punctual, well organized and customer service orientated in order to ensure our customer is happy before, during, and after the project is completed. Candidate must adhere to proper safety techniques, demonstrate self-leadership and accountability and have positive co-worker relationships.

Job Summary:

• Installation of windows & doors per manufacturer specifications
• Complete interior and exterior trim work
• Loading of materials and pre-installation preparation
• Breakdown and cleaning of worksite areas
• Develop good customer relations and maintain high level of service
• Perform installation and apply methods determined by lead installer
• Clean and organize trucks daily
• Perform the required amount of work in the allotted period of time
• Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and customers)
• Communicate well throughout organization

What we are looking for:

• Valid drivers license in WI
• Background Check, contingent upon employment
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic remodeling/construction experience; previous window and door installation, installation experience a plus but not required
• Must also be able to read job instructions and record materials on work order
• Comfortable with being on ladders with heights up to 2nd story
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to work independently and or with a crew
• Enjoy working outdoors year-round
• Responsible for keeping a clean truck and job site
• Professional demeanor; motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work
• Observes job site safety rules, OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20hr-$40hr Depending on Experience
