Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Window Install and Service I to install all types of window products in various applications. You will take direction from the field supervisor and follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements on all installed products.

Responsibilities include installing window materials with other installers, tracking time and materials, maintaining equipment, operating tools safely, and providing quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for installation.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Available for overtime as needed.

Overview

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, serving the major markets in Texas with five building material yards and one window distribution facility across Austin, Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth and San Antonio.

What You Will Do

The Window Install and Service I will install all types of window products in various applications. This person will take direction from the field supervisor and will follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements on all installed products.

• Follow instructions from the field supervisor regarding installation of window materials.
• Work with other installers to install window products as assigned and trained.
• Follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements when installing products.
• Track time and materials as required for each installation project.
• Maintain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Attend all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management.
• Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise.
• Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with window installation/service required.
