Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Residential Remodeler Apprentice in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves assisting with safe installation of windows and doors, starting at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with paid training and a pathway to full employment as a trainee installer.

Responsibilities include loading materials, visiting customers, performing installations, and ensuring clean job sites. Candidate should have basic hand/power tool knowledge and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Paid training provided; no prior experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse.
