Job summary

Hermés invites students to join Generation H as a fully on-site Windows internship in New York City. You will engage with Visual Managers, coordinate quarterly window rollouts, and assist with props, budgeting and documentation.

The five-month program runs Jan 11, 2027 – Jun 28, 2027, paying US$20 per hour with a 37.5-hour work week for full-time interns. Mentor-led, with guest speakers and a capstone project.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior in undergraduate studies or graduate student in a relevant field such as Interior Design, Fine Arts or Business.
• Strong interest, or previous experience in the luxury sector and Design/Home Decoration sector.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and a fast-learner.
• Dynamic, ability to work effectively with others and individually.

Responsibilities

• Connect with the Visual team to create and maintain windows roll-out schedule as well as assist with scheduling prop deliveries.
• Add product placement and directives to renderings by store for the Visual team to understand how each module should be merchandised.
• Assist with installing and merchandising local windows (NYC and possibly NJ).
• Assist with budget tracking.
• Conduct shop visits to review prototypes.
• Dispatch beauty samples to stores as needed for displays.
• Create photo report at the end of the quarterly roll out and upload photos to global photo library.
• Manage electronic folder system, including ensuring all windows are documented with photos and archiving the renderings.
