ABM Industries is seeking a dedicated window cleaning technician in Spokane, WA to clean windows and glass surfaces on various buildings using water-fed poles. You will transport equipment, safely operate aerial lifts, and maintain vehicle readiness while following health and safety regulations.

Shift variety includes nights, days, and weekends depending on the schedule; on-the-spot interviews are possible during hiring events. A strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven window cleaning experience.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to safely operate aerial lifts, scaffolding, and related equipment.
• Ability to work at different heights.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt and grime from windows and glass surfaces using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution, water, and rubber squeegee blades.
• Determine whether window glass is clear, reflective, or tinted, and adapt cleaning techniques accordingly.
• Use a scrim or microfiber cloth to dry around the edges of the glass.
• Use toweling cloths to remove excess water and moisture from window sills.
• Ensure that all window cleaning and lift equipment are in good working order.
• Operate aerial lift platforms and other lift equipment to reach the windows of high-rise buildings.
• Ensure that the company vehicle is adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times.
• Appropriately clean up after each job to ensure that there is no residue or dirt left behind.

To be successful as a window cleaning technician, you should be knowledgeable of health and safety regulations and have a good sense of balance. Ultimately, an outstanding window cleaning technician should be able to safely operate lift equipment as well as demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Rate: $18.00 -$23.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: This position varies week to week. you can work nights, days, weekends depending on scheduled work.
