Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to install Windows and House Wrap for jobsites around the Twin Cities area. Schedule: Mon-Fri from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Wage: 20.00 - 30.00+ USD per hour based on experience.

The carpenter will perform carpentry tasks including framing, sheathing, and installing windows and trim. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, maintaining safety, using hand and power tools, and coordinating with the crew.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of an apprenticeship program, certificate or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Communicate effectively with crew and foreman and follow directions.
Study blueprints or building plans to prepare layout and determine materials.
Provide required personal tools.
Measure and mark cutting lines; cut materials with hand or power tools.
Square walls and install sheathing correctly.
Assemble and fasten materials to form framework and install windows, frames, floors, trim, or hardware.
Supply crew with materials and use proper nailing procedures.
Use hand, pneumatic and power tools to install wall components.
Finish and inspect work to meet quality standards.
Keep jobsite clean and maintain attendance.
