Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a Window and Door Service Technician in Wisconsin.

The role involves transporting, removing and replacing broken windows and doors, with emphasis on safety from the facility to each job site. You will document each delivery with photos and may provide warehouse support as needed. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a medical card, and 2 years of window/door experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and Medical Card required.
• 2 years' experience removing and replacing glass and doors preferred.
• Window/door product knowledge, quoting and ordering preferred.
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds.
• Box truck experience is a plus; training available.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport, remove, and replace broken windows and doors.
• Ensure safety of each delivery from facility to job site.
• Document each delivery with photos using company camera phone system.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.
• Complete a thorough load check and secure all materials before departure.
• Prepare and file logs and government paperwork in a timely manner.
• Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect payment for COD deliveries.
• Responsibilities may include warehouse work and loading/unloading materials.

In this role, you will transport, remove and replace broken windows and doors. Specific Duties May Include

• Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles
• Using a variety of hand tools to remove and replace window materials
• Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
• Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
• Providing warehouse support as needed
• Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
• Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting the entire due amount on COD deliveries
• Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
• This position does not require over the road travel
• This position does not require a CDL

Specific Qualifications Include

• Window and/or door experience (product knowledge, quoting and ordering) is preferred
• The ability to lift 75-100 pounds
• Forklift experience is a plus (we will train if necessary)
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
• Box truck experience is preferred
