Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in the United States is seeking a Windchill Architect to lead PLM consulting, implementation, deployment, and adoption initiatives across multiple client engagements. You will drive architecture decisions and ensure solutions align with business goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, guide cross-functional teams, review deliverables for quality, and mentor staff on Windchill data models, customization, and integrations to deliver tangible outcomes.

• Represent project teams during governance and risk management discussions.
• Lead analysis, solution design, implementation, validation, and deployment of PLM solutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of client roadmaps and enterprise architecture strategies.
• Drive innovation and recommend practical, timely solutions to business challenges.

As a Windchill Architect, you will lead PLM consulting, implementation, deployment, and adoption initiatives. This role requires strong solution architecture capabilities, deep Windchill expertise, and the ability to lead project teams while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead one or more workstreams and associated consulting, implementation, deployment, and adoption teams.
• Plan project activities and assign tasks to team members.
• Review deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with project requirements.

• 10+ years of experience in Windchill implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Windchill implementation and solution design.
• Solid understanding of the Windchill data model.
• 3-5 years of Windchill PLM customization experience.
• Experience with PLM integrations.
• Strong PLM domain knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing CAD data in Windchill using tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, and related CAD applications.
• Delivered at least 3-5 Windchill implementations as a Solution Architect.
• Knowledge of SLM experience.
• Understanding of database systems.
• Knowledge of software quality processes and implementation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of Windchill product suites.

Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
