Job summary

WilliamsElectric, a division of R.W.Warner, is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead on-site commercial electrical installations in Frederick, MD. The role emphasizes strong communication, safety, and integrity while supervising a diverse team of electricians on complex projects.

The candidate will read drawings, manage schedules, and ensure quality workmanship across installations, upgrades, and maintenance for commercial and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in leadership role in commercial construction with at least 1 year as a commercial electrical supervisor
• Basic computer knowledge; proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore
• Demonstrated dependability and ability to support company policies
• Strong technical aptitude with electrical systems and drawings
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and mechanical plans

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for the general contractor’s field superintendent
• Possess complete knowledge of drawings, specs, schedules, and submittals
• Lead installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
• Manage and train field personnel on site
• Interpret and terminate cables; install and troubleshoot control wiring
• Promote safe work habits and enforce safety on site
• Provide a safe workplace for all employees onsite
• Oversee field execution and complete electrical contract work
• Track materials and tools for jobsites
• Schedule and conduct inspections and owner training
• Represent the company professionally to clients and partners

DutiesandResponsibilitieswillincludethefollowing:

• Pointofcontactforgeneralcontractor’sfieldsuperintendent.
• Possesscompleteknowledgeofalldrawings,specifications,constructionschedules,electricalequipmentsubmittals,andmechanicalequipmentsubmittals.
• Workconsistsofinstallations,alterations,additionsand/orrepairsofelectricalsystems,conductorsandassociatedmaterialsandequipmentwithinthecommercialandindustrialelectricalindustry.
• Responsibleformanagingandtrainingallelectricaljobsitefieldpersonnel.
• Performallelectricaltasksincludingreadingandaccuratelyinterpretingconstructionelectricaldrawings,terminatecables,andinstallandtroubleshootcontrolwiringfromdrawings.
• Demonstratesafeworkhabitsandpropercarefortoolsandequipment.
• Responsibleforprovidingandestablishingasafeworkplaceforallemployeesonsite.
• Responsibleforthecompletefieldexecutionoftheconstructionandperformanceoftheelectricalcontractwork.
• Responsiblefortrackingjobsitematerialsandtools.
• Responsibleforschedulingandconductingalljobsiteinspections,testing,andownertraining.
• Promotecompanyreputationandmaintainanoptimisticoutlookandpositiveattitudewiththeultimategoalofprovidingthebestservicetoclients.

Skills&Requirements

• Anycombinationofatleast5yearsofworkandtrainingexperienceinaleadershiproleinthecommercialconstructionindustryandaminimumofoneyearofexperienceasacommercialelectricalsupervisor.
• Basiccomputerknowledge,abilitytonavigateinMicrosoftoffice,Bluebeam,Procore,aplus.
• Demonstratedleaderprovendependabilityaswellassupportforcompanypolicies.
