Job summary

Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota is seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to assist in treatment and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, or sick wild animals. The role supports veterinarians and veterinary assistants in a fully equipped hospital with digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house lab.

The position requires MN LVT certification within 3 months, three years of LVT experience, and rabies pre-exposure vaccine.

Qualifications

• Professional LVT experience of three years.
• Must obtain MN veterinary technician certification within 3 months.
• Rabies pre-exposure vaccine series and titer required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics such as radiographs, CBCs, urinalysis, and other tests.
• Prepare for surgeries and monitor anesthesia.
• Administer medications/treatments and prepare patient diets.
• Maintain accurate medical records and inventory.
