Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Wildlife Specialist to address pest control needs for residential and commercial customers, performing exclusion, removal, and related services with proper training and safety practices.

The role involves property assessments, recommending solutions, and maintaining client relationships while operating and maintaining service vehicles and equipment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months related construction experience preferred.
• Ability to set live traps.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer.
• Willingness to work Monday–Saturday as needed.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers including inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, roof access, crawl space vapor barrier installation, insulation removal & installation, debris removal, and crawl space/attic disinfections.
• Inspect properties for wildlife and rodent damage and make recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem.
• Build internal and external relationships.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment.

What do our Construction/Wildlife Specialists do?

Our Wildlife Specialists visit customers and provide a full range of services to address their pest control needs and challenges. They strive to protect people and enhance lives by maintaining a pest free environment where our clients live and work by solving complex pest issues using their knowledge and training. This involves conferring with customers and thoroughly assessing their needs to ensure that they receive the highest possible value and maximum satisfaction with our services.

• Performs exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers which includes inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, working at roof top levels, crawl space vapor barrier installation, crawl space insulation removal & installation, crawl space debris removal, and crawl space and attic disinfections
• Inspect properties for wildlife and rodent damage and make recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem
• Build internal and external relationships
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment

What do you need?

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months related construction experience
• Ability to set live traps
• Previous ladder and/or harness work experience
• Have a good understanding of different construction types
• At least 2 years of customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Organized
• Punctual
• Ability to lead others
• Must be able to pull a 7x14 enclosed trailer
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
