Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Wildlife Service Professional to perform wildlife exclusion and animal removal in customers’ communities. You’ll work independently, interact with clients, and contribute to protecting homes and businesses while advancing your career.

Starting rate is $18 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, including a company vehicle, cell phone, and paid leave. No prior experience is required, and training is provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations; set up exclusion traps and perform repairs as needed.
• Follow a service schedule within your territory and meet monthly sales goals.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales and management to deliver excellent service.
• Prioritize safety and correctly handle company equipment and vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationships: Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating “Customers for Life.”
• Wildlife Services: Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations.
  • Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications.
  • Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed.
  • Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal.
• Service & Sales: Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits. Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Safety First: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Able to lift and move ladders larger than 32 foot, and climb 60 feet
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
