Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Wildlife Service Professional to handle outdoor wildlife exclusion and customer service in the Columbus, LaGrange, and Newnan areas. You'll perform wildlife removal, install exclusion measures, and assist with crawlspaces and termite work while following safety guidelines.

Starting pay is $16–$18 per hour with a company vehicle, cell phone, and full benefits. No prior experience is required; training is provided to grow in a team-focused environment.

• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Customer Relationships: build strong connections with internal and external customers to create “Customers for Life.”
• Wildlife Services: provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations; set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, form hardware cloth; work safely on rooftops with harness; perform basic repairs; assist crawlspace & termite work; stay informed on regulations.
• Service & Sales: follow service schedule within territory; educate customers on wildlife services; aim to meet monthly sales goals.
• Collaboration: partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Safety First: prioritize safety with company equipment and vehicles.

Your Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationships: Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating “Customers for Life.”
• Wildlife Services: Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations.
  • Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications.
  • Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed.
  • Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening.
  • Assist with Crawlspace & Termite work
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal.
• Service & Sales: Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits. Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Safety First: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No prior experience necessary!
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Able to lift and move ladders larger than 32 foot, and climb 60 feet
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
