Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
• Direct Deposit participation required.
• Provide transcripts for education if substituting education for experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day refuge operations, coordinating maintenance, fleet and supply requests, and facility support.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor special use permits and ensure permit compliance.
• Lead or support NEPA documentation, ESA consultations, and related clearances.
• Represent the refuge in regional coordination with Federal, state, Tribal, and NGO partners.
• Support public use programs and interpretive efforts; develop MOUs and interagency agreements.
• Plan and implement habitat management, invasive species control, and water management; conduct wildlife surveys.
