Job summary

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever seeks a Farm Bill Biologist I, II, or III based in Scobey, MT, to provide wildlife habitat services across Daniels, Sheridan, and Roosevelt counties. You will work with NRCS and local partners to promote enrollment in Farm Bill programs and PF's Grassland Initiative, while coordinating with PF staff and landowners to enhance wildlife habitat on agricultural landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management, Range Management, or closely related natural resources field.
• Experience with private landowners and conservation planning is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain USDA Federal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide wildlife habitat technical assistance to landowners, agencies, and partners.
• Develop conservation plans, complete documentation for NRCS and other programs.
• Coordinate implementation of wildlife habitat within NRCS programs with district staff.
• Communicate program requirements and develop plans for NRCS and partner enrollments.
• Build relationships with conservation partners, PF chapters, and landowners.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
