Job summary

Woodland Park Zoo is seeking a Warehouser onsite in Seattle to manage the commissary warehouse, prepare animal diets, and deliver supplies to animal units. The role requires standing, lifting, and occasional heavy machinery operation, with strict adherence to USDA and AZA standards.

The successful candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and customer-service oriented, capable of handling multiple requests and maintaining clear cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
• Ability to fulfill or receive orders with accuracy.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bulk animal diets per standing orders.
• Deliver and pick up diets to animal units.
• Clean and organize the warehouse and maintain inventory counts.
• Document purchases and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Operate forklift and assist procurement under supervision.
