Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology or a related field; 5+ years of experience, or 2+ years with a Master’s.
• Experience in scientific report writing.
• Knowledge of DoI/DoA/DoD natural resource regulations is a plus; understanding of federal/state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation and synthesis of large biological datasets.
• Identification of invasive species and federally/state-listed species across multiple U.S. regions.
• Development of natural resource management plans.
• Support for ESA compliance, including consultations and coordination with USFWS and NOAA Fisheries.
• Planning and conducting migratory bird and fauna surveys.
• Habitat restoration and monitoring activities.
• Participation in NEPA documentation, including Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements.
