Job summary

The Forest Service on a National Forest position seeks a crewmember to help develop and administer the unit's Fire Prevention Program. This role sits within the fire management organization and supports preventive actions to protect forests and communities.

You will contribute to prevention planning, assist with prescribed burn planning, and help establish fuel breaks to reduce wildfire risk for the unit and surrounding areas.

This position is located within a National Forest. The position is located on a fire crew as a crewmember within the fire management organization. This position is responsible for development, implementation and administration of the unit's Fire Prevention Program.
